Conveyed is a conveyancing law firm that provides high quality conveyancing services to people buying and selling in VIC, NSW, QLD and TAS. We are on the hunt for a Conveyancing Assistant/Receptionist to join our team!
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an enthusiastic Conveyancing Assistant/Receptionist. The Conveyancing Assistant will be responsible for administrative tasks across the firm, including:
- supervised contract reviews
- supervised drafting of sale contracts subdivisions
- helping the Conveyancer with legal transfer preparation
- communication with clients and team members
- sales calls and follow ups
- take client calls for the team
- creating marketing emails
- routine emails to clients
- surveying clients and requesting reviews
- managing the Directors email inbox
- representing Conveyed at networking meetings
- social media edits and posts
- tracking and reporting on KPIs
- manage the Director's calendar appointments proactively
- assisting the Conveyancer and Director with ad hoc tasks
Qualifications and Skills
- Contract review skills across VIC, NSW and QLD (ideal but not essential)
- Contract and legal document preparation skills on conveyancing matters
- Strong communication skills and fluent in English language
- Prepare and lodge subdivision applications
- Understanding of legal issues in conveyancing
- Understanding of PEXA, Outlook and Duties Online across VIC, NSW and QLD
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- At least 1-2 years of experience working for a conveyancing form in VIC, NSW or QLD
- Ability to work independently, autonomously and remotely
- Some knowledge of Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland property law
You will also have:
- A positive attitude with a can-do approach towards matters
- Proactive and hands-on with your work - ie, you dont wait for a prompt to action something
- Interest in learning and conducting proactive research
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Enthusiastic, driven people-person (important for sales calls)
- Knowledge of Triconvey or Smokeball products (ideal, not essential)
- Respectful and professional manner with can-do attitude
- Advanced Office 365 skills
- Super team player and willing to help
- Work as part of a broader remote team
